Experience Goa’s traditional form of farming and discover a vast variety of spices, medicinal herbs and tropical fruits. Cinnamon, Pepper, Chillies and Nutmeg, tropical trees like Cashew, Coconut, Arecanut and Teak thrive all over this amazing property.

We take you on an informative walk around the plantation in which you will hear about various spices, medicinal plants and their uses. You will also gain insights into sustainable agricultural practices that have been used to restore the land into a vibrant ecosystem. You will  see a bio gas digester and learn about cashew fenni distillation. At the end of the guided tour you have the opportunity to pick up some local products before relishing our home-cooked goan food.

Kindly book day visits at least a day in advance. The package includes a welcome drink, guided walk and goan style vegetarian lunch, all together at Rs 600 per adult, Rs 400 per child aged 6 to 12. Pl note we take bookings for min group size of 5 adults or min Rs 3000 (also for smaller groups/private tours).

Dudhsagar Waterfall, Spice Tour and Old Goa Churches day trip itinerary
This 1-Day itinerary is suggested for guests staying in North Goa or Panjim
Itinerary (timings are indicative)
Start from your hotel in North Goa
9:00 – 12:30 Jeep ride through Molem National Park to the base of Dudhsagar Waterfall. Cool down in the mountain waters and enjoy lush green forest around you.
– drive to Dudhsagar Plantation (~15 min)
13:00 – 14:30 Home-cooked Goan lunch at Dudhsagar Plantation followed by Spice Tour.
– drive to Old Goa (~1 hour)
15:30 – 16:30 Visit Viceroy’s Arch and Churches at Old Goa.
– return to your hotel in North Goa (~45 min)
Optionally, you can continue with a cruise on the river Mandovi at Patto/Panjim.

This 1-Day itinerary is suggested for guests staying in South Goa
Itinerary (timings are indicative)
Start from your hotel in South Goa
9:00 – 12:30 Jeep ride through Molem National Park to the base of Dudhsagar Waterfall. Cool down in the mountain waters and enjoy lush green forest around you.
– drive to Dudhsagar Plantation (~15 min)
13:00 – 14:30 Traditional Goan lunch at Dudhsagar Plantation followed by Spice Tour
– drive to Chandor (~40 min)
15:00 – 16:00 Visit the church of Nossa Senora de Belem and one of the colonial mansions at Chandor
– return to your hotel in South Goa (~45 min)

* to avoid the rush, we recommend that you reach Kulem (the starting point for jeep rides) early (jeep service is provided by a well-organized Taxi cooperative in Kulem)

* during the rainy season, jeeps are not available. Train/hiking are other options. We are happy to arrange the hike for our guests.
